Day 1: Arrival in Athens – City Tour of Athens & The Acropolis Upon your arrival at Athens International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your English-speaking guide. From there, you will embark on a private Athens city tour that includes a visit to the iconic Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore significant landmarks such as Constitution Square (Syntagma Square), the House of Parliament, and the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier guarded by the Evzones in their picturesque uniforms. You’ll also pass by notable institutions like the Athens Academy, the University, and the National Library. A short photo stop will be made at the historic Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympic Games held in 1896. Continuing towards the Acropolis, you’ll pass by Hadrian’s Arch and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Once atop the rocky hill, you’ll discover the magnificent monuments of the Acropolis, including the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon. You’ll also catch a glimpse of the Herodion theatre and the theatre of Dionysos. To conclude the day, you’ll visit the Acropolis Museum, where the friezes and statues from the Acropolis are beautifully displayed. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner in the center of Athens and then return to your hotel for a relaxing evening. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2: Two-Day Tour to Delphi and Meteora – Visit Delphi, the Sanctuary of Apollo After a satisfying breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel and meet your English-speaking guide in the lobby. Today marks the start of your two-day land tour to Delphi and Meteora. As you travel through the fertile plain of Beotia, you’ll pass by the towns of Thebes, known for the tragic tale of King Oedipus, Levadia, and Arachova (where a short stop will be made on the way back). Your first destination is Delphi, renowned as the center of the ancient world and referred to as the “Omphalos” or Navel of Earth. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Delphi’s ruins unveil the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. During your visit, you’ll explore the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, and the Museum, which houses remarkable works of ancient Greek sculpture such as the bronze Charioteer and the renowned athlete Aghias. Afterward, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and make a short stop in the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, known for its hand-woven carpets, rugs, quilts, wine, and cheese. From there, you’ll continue your journey to Kalambaka, where you’ll check in to your hotel and savor a delightful dinner. Overnight in Kalambaka.
Day 3: Two-Day Tour to Delphi and Meteora – Visit Meteora Monasteries Following breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel and depart with your English-speaking guide to visit the Meteora monasteries. These Byzantine marvels are perched atop rock towers, offering magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding plains. The monasteries, which have been recognized as UNESCO World Heritage monuments, were built on sandstone towers that provided seclusion for the monks over centuries. The Meteora region is considered one of the most beautiful areas in mainland Greece and is a truly unique attraction. After exploring the monasteries, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then begin your return journey to Athens. On the way back, you’ll have a photo stop at the heroic monument of Leonidas, the king of Sparta, in Thermopylae, which commemorates the famous battle at Thermopylae. Once you arrive back in Athens, you’ll head to a local restaurant for dinner and then check in to your hotel. Overnight in Athens.
Day 4: Departure from Athens After a satisfying breakfast, your English-speaking driver will pick you up at the designated time and transfer you to Athens Airport for your departure. You will then connect with your international flight back home.

Highest recommendations to use Holy Land VIP Tours! Our family of five wanted to visit Jerusalem and surrounding Christian sites but wanted to be on our own, without a large travel group.
We traveled with Holy Land VIP tours and Daniel was our guide. We felt very safe, and our accommodations were excellent. We were able to visit all of the Christian Holy Land Sites.
Daniel was able to take us to all the places we wanted to go and enable us to get into many places because he knew someone! He is very knowledgeable and accurate in the places.
Daniel and his Holy Land VIP Tours team were superb in all regards. We had a customized and flexible 7-day tour of Israel, including the northern coast, Galilee, Golan, etc.
